I suspect you would reject any source that contradicts those you've been getting fed by.

Absolutely not. I just haven't seen any sources suggesting that Sharia does not in fact condone the atrocities I listed. If you have any, I am willing to study them.

Just as there are many kinds of Christians, I know there are lots of different kinds of Muslims. However, Sharia is Sharia. As far as I know, it is either adopted wholesale in its 'pure' form or it is not Sharia. In any event, even if it is capable of being adopted by leaving out its more brutal aspects, there are lots of places which have indeed adopted it in its original head hacking, limb chopping form. You cannot refute this.

There's lots of good you could be doing if you really want ot help Islamic women.

The debate is not about helping Islamic women, but about the more brutal aspects of Sharia which you deny by suggesting that present day fundamentalist Christians [Swaggart, Bakker, etc.] are no worse, a proposition I find invalid from a logical standpoint. Even if fundamentalist Christians were head hackers in this day and age, so what? Does that validate the Sharian head hacking? Obviously not. Both would be wrong. Thus, your defense of Sharia by suggesting Christians are just as bad is illogical.

But your argument not only suffers from logical faults but is also factually wrong. The brutal aspects of Christianity have long ago passed into history. Not so the present day brutal aspects of fundamentalist Muslims in countries where Sharia has been adopted and is practiced in its original iteration.
