If a WiMax base station, associated network, tower and land lease costs $100K to $200K each, the system will not make enough money to cover the interest on the infrastructure costs much less any profit.

Sprint is using 80% of its current infrastructure to reach the proposed 100 million potential users by the end of 2008, but I am not sure this discussion is relevant to the board.
