Tennessee has some issues with racism they need to deal with. They neglected to elect Harold Ford who would be a great senator strictly for racist reasons. Though many great people live in the state, Tennessee is in some ways one of the most backward places in America. However, Virginia has now gone blue and maybe Tennessee will follow.

I'd vote for Thompson but so far he's very low key. It will take quickness on his feet to defeat Hillary. She's been preparing for this run for yrs, and it will take something more forceful than being a southern gentleman to win it for Repubs...sad but true.
