Private clinics are springing up in Canada even though they are generally not entirely legal. British are paying privately to get the procedures done on a timely basis that the government is delaying needlessly. Cubans are dying to escape their sytem. The examples of failed "universal" medical care are rampant wherever governments are involved.

What you are asking me for is a 'perfect' implementation of socialized medicine. There is none.

It's easy to find fault. I would argue that a the US system that leaves 40 million uninsured and costs double the European systems has more obvious 'faults'.
