I can't believe the ca ca you guys tell yourselves

That's ma ca ca.

How much you want to bet there will be a few more lawsuits. And then, we'll see how well the taser stock does

57 seven wrongful death lawsuits dismissed already - not one has succeeded. This puny case isn't even in the hunt as Taser company did not pull the trigger - perhaps the security cops or the university can be made to pay.

Yeah, six against one....that taser was really needed

Yes it was - there's no telling if he had a weapon or whether he would have hurt one of the officers. He was going to be escorted out until he began to escalate things, touching officers, fighting off their attempts to direct him out the door and taking an aggressive posture gets your face on the ground - resist and you get the taser.

He was a grandstanding little shit.

before it's over, EVERY police force in the country is gonna have tasers! AI, ACLU, and the bleeding heart liberals that value criminals rights over victims and police rights should ask themselves several questions so this can happen sooner rather than later.

1. good cops or bad, would you rather have them use a taser or a gun on a suspect in any given situation. as the fatal shooting in new zealand proved sadly, NOT having a taser available can be much, much worse than having one.

2. if an officers weapon is grabbed by a suspect, would you prefer the criminal have a taser or a gun to now use on the officer or innocent bystanders?

any way you look at it, a taser is a better and less lethal alternative to guns that will save many more lives and result in much fewer injuries to suspects, police, and innocent bystanders than guns or night sticks!

PS: Another order:

by Courtney Mabeus, The Examiner

Montgomery County (Map, News) - Montgomery County Police will spend about $220,00 to purchase 223 new Taser stun guns using funds from a Justice Department grant announced this week, officials said Thursday.

Department spokeswoman Officer Melanie Hadley said there had not been enough stun guns for all the officers who had been trained in the use of the weapon, which delivers up to 50,000 volts of electricity to the body, causing the victim to be temporarily incapacitated.

This will fill a void in the amount of requests we have gotten [from officers], Hadley said.

Taser Says 3 Lawsuits Against Company Were Dismissed, No Payments Made

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (AP) -- Taser International Inc., a maker of electric-shock weapons, said Thursday two personal-injury lawsuits and one wrongful-death suit against the company were dismissed.
Taser, which has been sued scores of times over injuries caused by its weapons, said it did not pay any money as part of the dismissals.

The company said this brings to 57 the total number of wrongful-death or injury lawsuits that have been dismissed or decided in its favor. Taser has never lost a product liability lawsuit.

Yes, the police can always go back to nightsticks.
