Considering that its commonly believed by most intel people that Israel has the sixth largest number of nukes[after the US, Russia, China, India and Pakistan] in the world, why would Iran attack Israel..... Why would lunatics fly airplanes into the world trade centers - do they actually believe all that religious crap? Why do lunatics bomb the federal building in OK City or the Olympics in Atlanta? Don't they know they can get caught? Don't they know the USA can wipe their puny countries off the map. Which country? They aren't countries; rather they represent ideological extremists. Mahmoud A-need-a-hand-job thinks he's on a divine mission to be the 12th imam or some such crap. If it's the end of the world for the infidels, why worry about retaliation? Besides lots of virgins are waiting for them Ahmadinejad is a powerless puppet. The Ayatollahs are the real power and they are much more moderate. And Iranians are some of the best educated people in the ME. Ahmadinejad's act....and it is an act.......has one purpose and one purpose only......to identify and exaggerate American stupidity wherever it can. And unfortunately, under Bush, he has had a lot of material with which to work.
