"Buying Swiss ADRs is fine, and you can probably buy Swiss stocks on other exchanges if Citi will do it."

My whole thing with ADRs is volume, mainly of low priced ARDs, but the Swatch Group ADR choices are not in the low price range.

C will do it, but I would buy foreign shares of this through Schwab. The deal I have with my broker at C: He brings something to my attention and I give him the business, no matter how much further looking into something I do. If I find something myself, I buy it at Schwab. Things I do buy from Schwab as a result of my research at C I do discuss with him. If he likes what I bought [idea: other clients will bring in commissions], he discusses it with me from time to time, as if it is in my C account, as 'thanks for the tip.'
