So yeah, production has gone up. If it went up 1 barrel a day, it would have been an increase. But the fact of the matter is that production hasn't gone up enough to service existing markets. With new markets like China and India opening up, it is totally insufficient.

Its hilarious........I don't think Tim really understands what's happening; doesn't know the reason why stocks like RIG or BTJ or DWSN are booming. DWSN is a company with seismic equipment that helps oil drillers locate oil deposits. RIG provides the rigs that drillers use. BTJ provides other drilling equipment. That's where the real money is to be made in the oil stock market boom; with well service and not so much with refiners and drillers. Why? Because these outfits help drillers find new supplies of oil and there is a desperate search to find oil anywhere on the planet that computer models/seismic data suggests oil exists. Nearly every rig in the US is in use every week of the year. And yet, supply can't keep up with demand. Hence, its why more and more people believe we are at peak oil.
