Now, why do you feel that Hillary or anyone else couldn't do the same? As you say, "stuff we took for granted until Hurricane Katrina".

Rudy pretty much HAD to step up. He had sited his emergency command center and personell IN one of the Towers, despite lots of people pointing out to him that they'd already been a target and were likely to be again. Rudy's an egotistical asshole, not unlike Dumbya in that regard.
