Just exploring the options in the debate, is all.

The central truth is always avoided by the gun control crowd - criminals don't follow the laws.

For example murder is a crime (a pretty tall one) yet they keep showing up in gun free zones with guns. It's a gun free zone - how can that possibly happen? Disarming the millions of legal gun owners does not put any road blocks in the path of illegal usage. Even Germany had a horrendous school shooting early this year and they have almost no civilian gun ownership.

Schools should allow tasers for teachers and students (not required, but allowed), they can already carry mace/pepper spray - as for guns in schools, even I have a bit of an issue with that - but surely a one shot taser that would not kill anyone, but gives them at least a fighting chance seems "reasonable" to borrow a gun banning phrase.
