Does producing biofuels causes hunger? Message 23922387

finallythere PM me:
One guy who's got a corn field planted for ethanol most likely will eat the corn before he transforms it in ethanol...

IOf course first he needs an incentive to go on production of ethanol.

Rick, i'm having a glass of Australian Shiraz. It reminds me to was this question:
Have anyone, ever, told us to stop boozing because we would cause hunger?

It uses grain. Barley, potatoes, grapes... But it never took food form the plate of anyone when we use to distill if for drinking...

hey, we are all for food here but we are not that fanatic! Dont go asking us for stopping making drinks! Imagine the taxes that alcohol -the drinking type- generatoes. This can be sued to feed the kids, you know pretty soon there area ll kinds of people saying, no, no! Drinking is good.. LOL!

PS the Shiraz wine is supposed not to be avaibale here...
