Too late. In southwest BC, most locals already can't afford to buy vacation properties because rich Americans have snapped them up. LC

koan, I really cringe each time I hear about our lack of deficits. Toronto mayor just reversed course on closing community centres due to public outcry. Imagine that... Toronto our showcase city closing rec centres and programmes one day per week due to lack of funds.. Even after they reopen the programmes remain cancelled until next year.. Toronto has no money... Feds raped provinces, provinces raped municipalities.. everyone is screaming for their money back.. Neither these feds nor their predecessors are heroes. It's all gonna come back to bite us in the a$$ one day... Basically the oil patch has to support the country... Something has to give... Tourism has fallen off a cliff.. Movie shoots also... Don't get me wrong... I rather be here, but the media you read about Canada has just as much spin as any other.. blackie
