I had a taser like device for a while, (hand held - it didn't shoot needles -it had two metal spikes you held against the skin) and I tried it on myself. It was a SHOCKING experience, but it did no permanent damage. I'd much prefer it to being clubbed. Don't knock 'em till you've tried 'em BOTH, Ted.
