Corn prices may be down because ethanol glut, but wheat prices are sky high - over $9.00 vs last year 4.50 - because of land moved to corn in the US and a drought hitting Australian wheat, plus usual increased emerging world demand. Soy and Cotton prices are doing okay too. Cotton may be a little soft later.

Note all the above are planted and harvested by machines, no illegal immigrant labor.

Hog, chicken and cattle prices also up.

The Farm areas in the US are rolling in dough, or at least as close to boom times as they get.
