Great article by Klein. Makes me more embarrassed than ever for supporting the iraq war too. I would point you to todays NYT news of the week section regarding iran bloggers in the oped area. It seems iranian bloggers are as embarrassed about their pres as american bloggers are with bush. Those folks know there are homosexuals in iran and also know that holocaust denial makes them look like fools to the world. Put american and iranian bloggers together and remove ahmadijad, the clerics, bush and the neocons and peace between iran and the US would break out at once. One other thought occurs to me. The bacchus and elgavieros of the world use the neocon thing to push there main agenda of anti-semitism. Its easy to blame israel, aipac, the jews for this failing of american fp. American neocons both jew and non jew alike may have done more to hurt israel and jews in general than anything that has happened to israel since its inception. Worse than the misguided neocon policy is the inability of smart guys like podhoretz and his disciples to ever admit error. And in order to support past errors they use denial and soviet big lie techniques. And lost in all of this is the fact that most jews were against the iraq adventure from the start. I know this because i argued with them vociferously at that time.
