That was the exact reasoning used by the GM of Intel Flash Group.

Well, not exactly the same reasoning. My reasoning includes the fact
that without AMD there would be absolutely no substitute. It's one thing
to say it's hard to substitute -- another to say it's impossible. You can't exactly
put an ARM chip in place of an Intel CPU and expect to sell a P.C.
