It was then they decided to taser him to get their jollies. Over and over, authority figures are using the taser to satisfy their sadistic natures. Its sickening.......and I suspect in the end will be the taser's undoing.

The student is an idiot - he was told stop resisting or you'll be tased. Fairly clear instructions and given to him more than once. They were attempting to handcuff him and he continued to resist. The number of officers is not important - in fact only two were attempting to restrain him while a third tried to handcuff him. The others doing crowd control unless some other person decided to interfere with officers performing their duty.

This demonstrates to cops and others that when tased perps come under control quickly - if anything it will further reinforce the image of the tasers effectiveness - the only issue is proper training - the tool itself works great.
