Reason isn't right wing, its libertarian. The New Yorker isn't right wing, libertarian, or a blog. Most of the links aren't to blogs.

In any case it doesn't matter who writes it, these are historical facts. If they get reported in "right wing blogs", that doesn't make them false.

Even if FDR was moving down the road of fascism [and I don't believe that's true], he had significant distance to go. Whereas the Bush administration is further down that same road.

Thats beyond wrong, its ridiculous. Even if you regard capturing terrorists and holding them without trial to be a step towards fascism, its a much smaller step than arresting regular Americans for providing discounts for cleaning and pressing suits, or sending government agents around battering down doors to stop people from working at night.
