Obama's comment is a very telling one-----the implication seems to be that Obama opens doors and Hillary closes off doors(i.e. people and opportunities).

As I listened and observed his presentation at Howard University--I noted that he was comfortable in speaking.

He blended the call for renewal of affirmative action and more Federal Government programs with we ourselves have to do more.

For people, black and white, who did not depend upon government programs to make their way in life his mention of restoring affirmative action and giving special treatment to various groups of people based on gender or race is not one that attracts votes. That is the old message.
