I cannot quite understand why it has not done even better (than being up about 20%). I'm also very disappointed in DBA...don't understand its mediocre return against the backdrop of a furious bull in at least half of its components. I've had phenomenal returns with individual food-related stocks. Over the past year: SWPOF: 75% (wheat...got this one from Jim Rogers on a Fox stockpicker show several yrs ago) RSGUF: 40% with dividends (sugar) POT: 110% (fertilizer) BG: 120% Missed out on Monsanto. I've become quite suspicious of Powershares in general.....strictly anecdotal but they've always underperformed for me.
