Sorry, just trying for some context here. Canada has about a 25% student loan default rate through 2002. hrsdc.gc.ca
Pretty damn high. Interest rates are not nearly as high now as they were when we paid ours back. Are people's expectations simply just too high ? Our tuition fees are quite a bit lower also it seems though.

OT: Frankly the lefty in me would like to see quality public education all the way up to say bachelor's degree or college for students that work at it and the boot for those that don't. Seems once again those damn Quebecois are doing something right...
