Looks like there isn't any political risk anymore in Ecuador. I would be very careful investing in Canada though as the government is very unstable and is making tax and royalty grabs (oil sands) and bowing to pressure from aboriginals.

Hedge fund manager for Leeward still likes it. Thinks the government will need to face reality for revenue but I think is out presently. Same guy like Orka shorter term anyway. Was on BNN Market Call last Monday as I recall.
