Funny little story about our outhouse. When we bought the property, the original outhouse was ancient.......full of spiders and many broken and rotted boards. A carpenter friend wanted to gift us a new one, so made the one in the picture. On the Fourth of July he loaded it on his flatbed trailer and was on his way to deliver it when he came upon a Forth of July parade in a small town he was passing through. He thought it would be a good way to advertise since he has his sign on the side of the door on his truck. The parade organizers said he could drive through. So he did the parade route then continued on his way up to our place. He actually got a few calls from people wanting him to build them an outhouse as a result. LOL The crescent moon on the door was my idea.
