Thought McCain had scratched his way back up to about 18% in the national polling (ahead of Thompson's 17%...), and recently nearly tying Romney in New Hampshire, and Thompson in South Carolina?

So who is the dark horse candidate for the Republicans that has yet to announce?

And, who is the dark horse candidate for a 3rd party such as with Perot.

There are a lot of good people who should have been running who aren't

1. Condoleeza Rice

2. Elizabeth Dole

The accomplishments of both Rice and Dole are phenomenal in comparison to Hillary-------Either would make mince meat of Hilary------particularly Rice----plus Rice is a woman and partially black

3. Former Governor George Allen of Virginia

4. Former Governor Mark Warner of Virginia(oops he's a Dem.)

5. Newt Gingrich, Former Speaker of the House

6. Richard Viguerie

7. Unkown

8. How about a member of the anti-media
i.e. R.E. Tyrrell of Chicago and the Spectator
