Joe

Ephud likes to call them bashers. That is his right. I don't feel that strong about it.

I have no problem with people who disagree with Bob on the issues. That's a healthy thing. I have a problem with those who attack him for frivolous reasons. Bob is not perfect. Bob has made mistakes. Like all human beings I expect that Bob has learned from his mistakes and his timing model has improved over the years. I was called a liar by one of the more irrational posters here for simply expressing that opinion. Others have demonstrated that their only purpose here is to attack and criticize while offering no useful comments. Those are what I call bashers, not those who choose to agree to disagree.

No, joe, I couldn't get Brinker on Saturday or Sunday. I have tried and tried. I have also tried and tried on the computer, but for some reason it just doesn't work. If it's true that Brinker is on fewer and fewer stations, so be it. But football and sports radio in general seems to be gobbling up the air time on Sat. and Sun. I even tried the CC radio but I sent it back.

AAR, I think it's irrelevant if Brinker said the two issues are unrelated. Maybe so, but I disagree, as I've said before, and even if that was true, should that mean that no one may discuss the "bigger picture" of what's wrong with American business? Frankly, I don't care if he said they're unrelated. I've disagreed on particular issues before and I'm sure I will again. Many of us are far beyond letting anyone tell us what to believe or what we may speak about.

So much for the "lockstep" and "koolade" charges.
