Thanks for reminding me! I have to admit that I--like many millions of Canadian investors--was astonished at the Harper/Flaherty perfidy in doing precisely what Harper promised he would never do. If it's any consolation, I am down more than you are from what I put in; I switched everything from what I had in ES to AOG.UN. Staying in ES would have been even worse, I think. There is still a possibility that buyouts may pump the values back up, even if the Flaherty plan goes through. Incidentally, I do have another agricultural idea. Symbol is MOO (no kidding). Do you know it? It's a worldwide ETF invested in all kinds of farm machinery, fertilizer, storage, processing--things like Bunge and Deere and Komatsu, etc.
