It shows you're easily manipulated by the sensational headlines of the day and not the least bit concerned with digging down and putting things into perspective - this is a liberal trait so I feel it's redundant to even point it out to you.


You want me to feel better because more children die in swimming pools more than by guns. Surprisingly, you don't find that comparison extraordinarily superficial. Well, let me try to explain how I feel another way. As far as I am concerned, the goal is to have less children die period......not more in swimming pools than by a bullet. What "digging deep" to you means is finding a statistic that makes the gun look less deadly to the general population. If that isn't superficial, I don't know what is. And that's what makes the gun killing headlines so sensationalistic. We are a first world country that is nearly as violent as many third world countries. No amount of education or wealth seems to drive home that fact to you gun lovers. Its very sad...........
