There are several beefalo farms around here already, i.e. within a 100 miles or so. A particular favorite is adjacent to a golf course I also like -- maybe it could be bought.

The last farm I purchased was because it had oil under it -- only 50 acres, usually planted in soybeans with the occasional rotation to corn. That was back in 1990 -- I probably never should have sold it, but the oil was getting played out and beanies were only $3 a bushel then. C'est la vie.

I have in-laws in ag. One is a big shot in the pork genetics game and he exports all over the world -- very highly thought of -- so he also gets to travel a lot and write it off. Prick.

I've got some stuff to do this evening but will be my usual insomniac self afterward I suspect -- maybe I'll check out the farm listings later for prices

I'm sure you can get it for nothing in Nunavut, a farm in
the snow? You could grow sheep and sell them to Myth,
Luc, and other rich dipsters -g-
