I had a helluva time using my wireless web on my phone. I would love to see iPods continue to evolve in the direction of wireless web devices. I think the demand is beginning to develop for the separation of wireless voice and wireless data/media players. I would have had my iPod with me the whole time if I had internet access.

I need to think more about the iTouch iPod for internet access. The biggest problem facing the proliferation of wireless voice products and wireless data products is the cell phone companies have yet to establish a realistic pricing model. No way I'm going to pay $60 a month for unlimited wireless connectivity in a wireless aircard with absolutely no functionality. I might pay $30 a month for unlimited data on a wireless data product that included gps, media player, and contact mgr.

I just need an excuse to change carriers. Sprint has done nothing for me in the past 5 years. I'm ready to give my $130 a month to a new company. I'd pay $160 a month if I could get a wireless data device.
