Those are big numbers, not replaceable at present consumption. Unless they factor in $150 oil, and all the consequences that would imply, I doubt if sanctions would include oil.

And of course, such an event argues against a war with Iran, although I would suggest does not necessarily prevent one. From that article, it seems that most of Iran's exports are to other countries rather than to the US. The US may just let these countries fend for themselves as far as oil shortage is concerned, having secured their own oil supplies. Pure conjecture of course.
