Good points. Just go back to each of their original drafts. Elway and Manning were rated high in the draft. It was expected talent. Farve and Brady were not first rounders. Neither Elway or Manning wanted to play for the team that drafted them. Maybe Archie's career had something to do with it? They wanted control of the team that picked them. Green Bay must have known talent to give up a first round pick. New England saw talent to let Bledsoe go.
