"What you have to learn to accept as an unpleasant fact is that a rather large swath of Muslims"

You keep assuming that I don't accept that unpleasant fact. You are mistaken and you further err when you draw conclusions about Muslims in general based on your knowledge of some unpleasant facts.

Regarding your misapplication of Taqqiya, it is simply a term. It is a term that explains why it is no sin to keep quiet or even deny your religious affiliation when you are in fear of harmful persecution. You engage in Taqiya Nadine, when people here attack you about your religion or when pressed for declarations about your religious loyalties and affiliations. You don't have to get in people's face about it if they are threatening to you the same way you would around a harmless person like me. It need be no more complicated than that. I have seen Jews put their fingers to their lips (signalling each other to shush) and say 'we don't really know who we're talking to', when they first meet me. It hurts my feelings to think they would feel threatened by me but I get it. Yes, the unpleasant applications are employed by unpleasant bastards who bomb innocent people ... why would you think in your wildest imagination that decent Muslims don't get that?
