Thats all well and good but then how do you account for the Cowboys of the 90's and the Pats of the 2000's? What about the great Bears and Ravens defenses? I don't know how to discount Favre's numbers to fit the 1960's. All I know is he owns the records now AND what most people find appealing about him is he probably would have fit in great back then. Its all too subjective...I can't and wont say Favre was the best ever. What I will say is he's one of the best AND he's unique in the sense that he probably could have played for many of those legendary coaches and teams. Not that many guys from today would fit back then

It doesn't matter....I love Favre and I think he's been a gas to watch.
