It would be very slight, if any. In general, it has been going a little up and a little down around a trendline that is pretty flat.

Sure. That hasn't been replaced. But, it hasn't been even increased much despite addition exploration and all the incentives to find and produce it.

True, we might not be at peak oil. Or we might have already passed it. Given the pricing climate, it wouldn't surprise me if a lot of wells weren't being pushed past maximum yield to take advantage of it.

And certainly a lot of the estimates of reserves are pure fiction.

Under the circumstances, it would be extremely foolish to assume that we aren't close to peak oil.
