Liars is a strong word. It fits Reid, but many partisan democrats did not have official notice that the story had been concocted from whole cloth. For those who ignore the facts once they know that the phony soldier "controversy" was started by ABC and picked up by a caller to Rush's radio show and that the spin applied by Hillary's front group, Media Matters, then liar fits. People deserve the presumption of good intentions until they prove they are not worthy of it.

Yes it is instructive that Hillary's attack group did not attack ABC, but instead focused on Rush. It might have something to do with the fact that ABC is a reliable partner in her spin while Rush is a counterbalance to the same old recycled democrat talking points reiterated by the formerly mainstream media.
