Ted,

Hillary has a better shot at getting the Dem. nomination than Rudy the GOP's.

You are right about that.

And I don't think Clinton is a shue in by any means. The religious right has made it very clear that Rudy is not acceptable and I think party leaders will listen to them.

The leadership of the religious right has mad it clear. But their membership has not really followed.

Also, benefiting Rudy is the fact that none of the other candidates is a clear choice of Religious Right standard bearer. Maybe the Sen Brownback could be on the issues, but I don't think I am the only person looking for fast forward button when he speaks. The guy is annoying as hell.

My prediction is that Rudy will win the religious right vote, when all the primary votes are counted and analyzed.

One mistake that the analysts and pundit make is when they somehow equate the "values voter" (phrase coned by the pundits) with religious right. One does not have to be particularly religious or right wing to appalled by the assault on "normalcy" under way by Hollywood, media, various fringe groups, with tacid approval of Democrat party.
