"You end up keeping the rich rich, the poor poor, and the middle class spinning their wheels."

Oddly enough, during the period when Keynesian economics had the most sway, the percentage of the economy controlled by the rich got smaller, the poverty rate declined and the middle class was at its most robust. Since the rise of the supply siders, all that has changed.

Which is a real head scratcher, you know?

I'm not a socialist. I just know that "tax and spend" and PAYGO is more fiscally responsible than "borrow and spend" with no PAYGO. The actual numbers prove it. So do you - you're just in denial.

Republicans are the party of "borrow and spend" that refuse to pay for government as they go.
