I had a conversation Monday with an old guy who shared USMC recruiting duty with my Dad. I remember visiting with him as a kid when we went over to his house every Christmas Eve. He's 90 now. Dad passed at 83, but he was better looking.

We probably have some USN dinner ware that Dad pulled out of the garbage. The USMC had to use USN forks.

I have three of those wool blankets. I'm going to get the dirty ones cleaned and give them to my brother, who was a Marine.
