Bull, the 200 territorial limit for natural resources would apply. If we are independent, we most certainly would keep the severance taxes, which are rightfully ours, anyway.

As an aside, it wasn't until recently that we got the same amount Texas was getting from its offshore wells. I tell you, we have some real grievances, some which are IMO sufficient to rally around the Pelican Flag and say goodbye to the US.

We'd get the best and deepest wells in which billions have already been invested.
