I'm not so sure its worse than other times. I've been an Apple person for a long time and even though Apple people are perceived as fanatical followers they complain quite a bit. However public perception of Apple is important to our investments so it will pay us to watch. For us to make money other people who have previously not liked Apple have to decide they now like Apple. A big public lemon, caused by cutting a corner too much, could go a long way to derail the goodwill Apple now has. I also think Apple has people who read this thread. My guess is they are going to play it on the edge. They are there to make profits. I just hope they don't go over the edge because right now Microsoft is the "bad guy" and Apple is still the "good guy." Apple needs that to gain market share.
