To compare Bush to Reagan is an extreme insult to Reagan.

Reagan knew exactly what he was doing and bush doesnt. Its apples and oranges and this should give you a greater appreciation of what reagan accomplished. Reagan would have fired the neocons early on even if suckered into iraq. Yeah, Iran - Contra was such a success for Reagan. But hey, he was engaging the "moderates" in Iran, so I guess you would have approved. Reagan was a disaster in the Middle East. He ran away from Beirut after losing 250 Marines to Hizbullah. We are still paying for the "paper tiger" rep that gave the US in Arab eyes.
