Let me get this straight you are calling ... we are committed to be more vocal and more active in our attempt to isolate terrorists and terrorism, deny them recruits, sympathy, and any religious or political legitimacy. ...a soothing pablem rather than a reply to terrorism. The responses instead have been false allegations, accusations that I am a fool, false declarations about facts event from your own articles, denials, evasiveness, and dismissiveness ... hmmmm, what do you really want Nadine? (Rhetorical question) If it were peaceful coexistence among the diverse peoples of the world, I would expect a much different type of interaction with you. There are real solutions, that don't force you to face Mecca or compromise values or ethics. They do involve uniting in promoting principles of common decency in a virtuous manner, and in condemning heinous and brutal conduct. anyway here is another example of your fellow countrymen (or if you prefer another lying front group <sarc>) speaking out for American principle and against heinous conduct and terrorism. "American Muslims have a vested interest in the strength of religious freedom and democracy. American Muslims must educate the Muslim world about the remarkable freedoms and coexistence we enjoy here. Calls for "Death to America" and the murder of Americans are an attack on millions of Muslims who are proud to call themselves American. Virulent anti-American rhetoric and action by radicalized Muslims threaten our country, our freedom, and our democracy. We embody the spirit of American diversity and represent a rainbow of humanity. By celebrating diversity and building bridges within our own community, we help strengthen American society. We owe our strength and success in part to classic American principles of individual rights and social justice. We know firsthand the importance of protecting the full rights of minority communities. One of our gifts to the larger Muslim world must be a new emphasis on considering and protecting the rights of minorities.
