JF, so you and Dr. Dobson have one thing in common ... a desire for a "third party." Nice.

The drawbacks of having a single political party are obvious, but I don't know if most people know what the drawbacks are of having a political duopoly.

The effects on the GOP are obvious to me. They spend like drunken sailors and put it on credit. Many including Chris will argue that's worse than tax-n-spend, but I prefer not to settle for that.

Unfortunately, a vote for the third party is essentially a vote for the opposition. Just ask Ross Perot.
