The jobs numbers is a biggie.

Although the continuing fall of the dollar helps Apple products overseas it hurts consumer buying power in the US and contributes to falling consumer confidence at home. Inflation is no good for consumers.

And I think over confidence in Apple's coming numbers is a guarantee that they won't hit the numbers everyone would like to see and profit takers are taking profits. It had to happen after what, 20 nearly straight days up?

I'm resigned to a dip and some profit taking until after Apple announces. I believe the stock will continue to climb after all this blows over. Xmas is coming. The new OS is coming and a LOT of people are holding off buying new systems until the new OS is out, including my brother who is going to be a new switcher pretty soon.
