I see your point, but I don't think the investigation should stand in the way of making the shareholders more money. We all need more dough to buy new Leopard OS upgrades, iPhones, Ipods, new Mac's, headphones, etc... for Christmas. It would be nice to budget 1 new iProduct a month for the next year. Think about it for a family of 4 - 2 iPhones, 4 iPods, 1 iBook, 1 Power Mac, Leopard OS. It starts to snowball in a hurry. Once you buy all the gear, you have to start thinking about replacement cycles for the smaller stuff like iPods and iPhones.

Back to options, I find it ironic that most people respond negatively when the SEC does these kind of reviews. All the CEO's need to be accountable to some higher authority. I'm glad the SEC will be reviewing Apple and every other company making so much money. I am confident the company is complying with the procedures. If they aren't, those people should pay hand back their options.
