I'd say with a 40 year time horizon you might be right, otherwise .. if history in your mind reaches back further..

This would be the first united Chinese empire... Didn't last long..

Now they have expanded a great deal westward since then with many Turkomen, Uighurs, various Stans.. territories in the mix.. etc. etc... I mean otherwise how did they end up with the Indian border you mention..

I think the Dali Lama might also disagree with you regarding Tibet.

So they have done some pretty steady inexorable colonizing themselves.. Always better to use facts when making a point instead of just making stuff up to suit your world view..
