The older I get the less patience I have for clutter and useless stuff hanging around taking up my space. I toss a lot and give a lot to charities.

When I tossed my mother's old financial records she wanted to throw them in the dumpster, but I insisted on destroying them.

I tried burning them, but that was too slow and risked the attention of nosy neighbors.

I finally settled on a method that I plan to use again: Biological disposal. I filled a garbage can with water, dogfood, dog poop, fertilizer, yard debris, slugs and snails and other scummy stuff, then let the records soak for a half a day. Then I punctured the garbage can to let the water out and shoveled the mess into a black plastic bag.

I guarantee nobody will be stealing any identities off of those records.
