BTW, was President Karzai also making diplomatic attempts when he publicly negated Bush Jr and said that Iran was very helpful in Iraq? What do you think it would take to make Iraqis and Afghans say such diplomatic "lies" towards US? What would it take for you to take their word at face value rather that twist it around your neck to try to make it come out as you please?

Chinese did the same in indonesia during cultural revolution supporting Sukarno but also suppporting PKI and overseas chinese. The fact they are schizoid in their behaviour means that there at least is an opening. Ignoring the opportunities such an opportunity offers is foolhearty even if it leads nowhere. In 1972, US saw the opportunity in china and jumped on it---sort of worked out but of course you wanted to go to war with china in 48 when red army took over or in 52 when macarthur wanted to nuke em.

Well let's see...we are arming and training the Iraqi Hizbullah sometimes called the Security and Police Forces, arming and training the Iraqi Sunni Insurgents that already are experts with IEDs which are the deadliest American killers and funding and turning Blackwater into a $Bn private Far Right Wing army headquartered in North Carolina. Yup, maybe Iran is doing those crazy things you charge. It works for us. And oh btw, fund health care for American kids??...NAAH, that is "socialism"...also known as EVIL!
