that is indeed strange....never heard of a trucking firm doing cold calls before... It was pretty clearly someone directly from the company, there was no machine dial handoff, the guy was direct to the point, and when I said I had no near term need, he didn't bother to badger me, or find out what my longer needs might be, just politely said have a nice day and hung up. He was clearly beating the bushes for near term $, and the approach was just to use the telephone book.
