It has caused no significant production shut-ins in the Gulf. Offshore production is down less than 100,000 Dth/d today at 8.2 Bcf/d. Total onshore and offshore Gulf production is flat at 11.4 Bcf/d. Several deepwater projects are scheduled to boost offshore production during the last months of the year, including BP's Atlantis project, which is expected to peak at 180 MMcf/d. TEXAS ENERGY BULLETIN: October 5, 2007 Maintenance at El Paso's Keystone station has led to supply constraints this week. Additional maintenance work is scheduled to take place at Waha next week. Ship Channel came off 17 cnts to $6.89 while Henry was not quite as weak, dropping 4.7 cnts to $6.91. That took Ship down over 12 cnts relative to Henry, resulting in a differential of 2 cnts under Henry. Waha was down 29 cnts to $6.66; Socal was down 28 cnts to $6.60. Thus Socal is now about 6 cnts under Waha. Flows moving West to socal are off by 227,000 MMbtu or 29% today. Panhandle was down 11.5 cnts to $6.17. Ship channel moved up to 22.6 cnts over Waha. Flows flipped from 43,000 MMbtu net moving west to 70,000 MMbtu net moving east. US POWER - GAS BURN REPORT: October 5, 2007 US gas burn drops today by 1.4 Bcf, a 6% decline that gives back much of the gains it made in yesterday's I2 cycle. Yesterday's I2 nominations rose 1.1 Bcf from yesterday's evening cycle to reach a high for the week of 25.5 Bcf. The WECC shows the biggest plunge today, down 249 MMcf, with FRCC following with at 169 MMcf drop. RFC also sheds weight down 153 MMcf, with SERC down 82 MMcf. Despite continued nuke outages, temps and load are down in these regions.
